Program/Source Code:

The source code to get the length of StringBuilder string is given below. The given program is compiled and executed on the ubuntu 18.04 operating system successfully.

// Scala program to get the length of
// StringBuilder string

object Sample {
  def main(args: Array[String]) {
    val str = new StringBuilder("This is india");

    printf("String is: '%s'\n", str);
    printf("Length of string: %d\n", str.length());
  }
}

Output:

String is: 'This is india'
Length of string: 13

In the above program, we used an object-oriented approach to create the program. And, we created an object Sample. Here, we defined main() function. The main() function is the entry point for the program.

In the main() function, we created an immutable string str using StringBuilder class, which is initialized with "This is india". Then we got the length of the string using the length() method and printed the result on the console screen.
