Program/Source Code:

The source code to print the binary value of a specified number using format specifier in Printf() function is given below. The given program is compiled and executed on the ubuntu 18.04 operating system successfully.

// Golang program to print the binary value of a specified number
// using format specifier in Printf() function

package main

import "fmt"

func main() {
	var num int = 0

	fmt.Printf("Enter number: ")
	fmt.Scanf("%d", &num)

	fmt.Printf("Decimal value: %d\n", num)
	fmt.Printf("Binary value : %b\n", num)
}

Output:

Enter number: 8
Decimal value: 8
Binary value : 1000

Explanation:

In the above program, we declare the package main. The main package is used to tell the Go language compiler that the package must be compiled and produced the executable file. Here, we imported the fmt package then we can use a function related to the fmt

In the main() function, we created a variable num with initial value 0. Then we read the value of the variable from the user. After that, we printed the decimal and binary value of the specified number on the console screen using "%d", "%b" format specifiers.
