The source code to demonstrate the BITWISE XOR (^) operator is given below. The given program is compiled and executed successfully.

    res = num1 ^ num2
    fmt.Printf("Result: %d",res)
}

Output:

Enter number1: 6
Enter number2: 2
Result: 4

Explanation:

In the above program, we declare the package main. The main package is used to tell the Go language compiler that the package must be compiled and produced the executable file. Herem we imported the fmt package that includes the files of package fmt then we can use a function related to the fmt package.

Here, we created the main() function. The main() function is the entry point for the program. In the main() function, we created three variables num1, num2, and res that are initialized with 0. Then we read the values of variables num1 and num2 from the user.  Here, we performed a bitwise XOR (^) operation.

Now evaluate the above expression,

res = num1 ^ num2
res = 6 ^ 2

The binary equivalent of 6 is 110.
The binary equivalent of 2 is 010.
Then
110
010
====
010

That is 4.

At last, we printed the value of variable res on the console screen.
