Program/Source Code:

The source code to find the remainder for floating-point numbers using math.Mod() function is given below. The given program is compiled and executed successfully.

// Golang program to find the remainder
// using math.Mod() function.

package main
import "fmt"
import "math"

func main() {
    var num1 float64  = 10.25
    var num2 float64  = 3.0

    var rem float64  = 0

    rem=math.Mod(num1, num2)

    fmt.Printf("Remainder is : %f",rem)
}

Output:

Remainder is : 1.250000

In the above program, we declare the package main. The main package is used to tell the Go language compiler that the package must be compiled and produced the executable file. Here, we imported the fmt package that includes the files of package fmt then we can use a function related to the fmt package.

Here, we also included the math package to use math-related functions and created the main() function. The main() function is the entry point for the program. Here, we created 3 floating-point variables num1num2rem, which is initialized with 10.253.00 respectively.

Here, we used the Mod() function of the math package to find the remainder for floating-point numbers and print the result on the console screen.
