Program/Source Code:

The source code to print the ASCII value of characters of the string is given below. The given program is compiled and executed successfully.

// Golang program to print ASCII value of
// characters of string

package main

import "fmt"

func main() {
	str := "Hello World"

	fmt.Println("Ascii value of string:")
	for i := 0; i < len(str); i++ {
		fmt.Printf("%c  %d\n", str[i], str[i])
	}
}

Output:

Ascii value of string:
H  72
e  101
l  108
l  108
o  111
   32
W  87
o  111
r  114
l  108
d  100

Explanation:

In the above program, we declare the package main. The main package is used to tell the Go language compiler that the package must be compiled and produced the executable file. Here, we imported the fmt package that includes the files of package fmt then we can use a function related to the fmt package.

In the main() function, we created a string variable str, which is initialized with "Hello World". After that, we accessed the characters from the string and print the ASCII value of each character on the console screen.
