The source code to create a two-dimensional list using List collection is given below. The given program is compiled and executed on the ubuntu 18.04 operating system successfully.

    val twoDList: List[List[Int]] =
      List(List(1, 2, 3), List(4, 5, 6), List(7, 8, 9), List(10, 20, 30))
    println("Two Dimension list: \n" + twoDList);
  }
}

Output:

Two Dimension list: 
List(List(1, 2, 3), List(4, 5, 6), List(7, 8, 9), List(10, 20, 30))

Explanation:

In the above program, we used an object-oriented approach to create the program. Here we imported Collection classes using below statement,

import scala.collection.immutable._

Here, we also created a singleton object Sample and defined the main() function. The main() function is the entry point for the program.

In the main() function, we created a two-dimensional list twoList using List collection. Then we print the created list on the console screen.
