def AddNum(num1, num2)
   add = num1 + num2;
   return add;

print "Enter number1: ";
num1 = gets.chomp.to_i;  
    
print "Enter number2: ";
num2 = gets.chomp.to_i;  

print "Addition is: ",AddNum(num1,num2);

Output:

Enter number1: 23
Enter number2: 45
Addition is: 68

Explanation:

In the above program, we created a function AddNum() with arguments and return a value. In the AddNum() function, we added both numbers and return the result. Then we printed the result.
