Scala program to demonstrate the append() method with StringBuffer class

The source code to demonstrate the append() method with the StringBuffer class is given below. The given program is compiled and executed on the ubuntu 18.04 operating system successfully.

    val str = new StringBuffer("Lucky Number: ");

    //Appending a number to an immutable string
    str.append(123);

Output:

Lucky Number: 123

In the above program, we used an object-oriented approach to create the program. And, we created an object Sample. Here, we defined main() function. The main() function is the entry point for the program.

In the main() function, we created an immutable string str using the StringBuffer class. Then we appended an integer number 123 to string str using the append() method. After that, we printed the result on the console screen.
