Here, we will create a string and then we will extract a subsequence from the string using the subSequence() method. And, we will specify the start and end index for subsequence. The subSequence() method is similar to the substring() method. The only difference is the return type. The return type of subSequence() method is CharSequence.
Program/Source Code:
The source code to demonstrate the subSequence() method is given below. The given program is compiled and executed on the ubuntu 18.04 operating system successfully.
Output:
In the above program, we used an object-oriented approach to create the program. And, we created an object Sample. Here, we defined main() function. The main() function is the entry point for the program.
In the main() function, we created a string variable str initialized with "Hello World". Then we extracted the subsequence from the string using the subsequence() method based on start and end index and assigned the result into res variable. After that, we printed the result on the console screen.
