Program/Source Code:

The source code to convert a numerical string into an integer number is given below. The given program is compiled and executed successfully.

// Golang program to convert string into integer

package main

import (
	"fmt"
	"strconv"
)

func main() {
	var str string
	var num int64

	fmt.Print("Enter string number: ")
	fmt.Scanf("%s", &str)

	num, _ = strconv.ParseInt(str, 0, 64)
	fmt.Println("Num : ", num)
}

Output:

Enter string number: 108
Num :  108

Explanation:

In the above program, we declare the package main. The main package is used to tell the Go language compiler that the package must be compiled and produced the executable file. Here, we imported the fmt package that includes the files of package fmt then we can use a function related to the fmt package.

In the above program, we also imported strconv to use the string conversion function.

In the main() function, we read a numeric string from the user and convert it into 64 integer number, and print the result on the console screen.
