Simplex connection vs Half duplex connection vs Full duplex connection

 

Simplex network connection: the sender is only a sender, and the receiver is only receiver, it mains that the sender device can not receive, and the receiver device can not send.

 

Half duplex network connection: the both of the 2 devices can send and receive, but not in the same time, example: walki talki.

 

Full duplex network connection: teh of the 2 devices can send and recieve at the same time, example: any voip application like messenger, whatsapp calls, facetime,...etc
