C. PNH is associated with both evolution to aplastic anemia (AA) and, in some cases, devel opment of acute myeloid leukemia (AML) in 1% to 2% of cases. Patients with PNH are at increased risk of both venous thrombosis and hemorrhage. PNH is not associated with immunoglobulin deficiency.
