  3. The juxtaglomerular apparatus releases renin which promotes diuresis
  4. The glomerular fi ltration rate increases so more urine is produced.

B: ADH, from the posterior pituitary, would allow more water to be reclaimed from the fi ltrate so that plasma osmotic pressure does not increase further. Renin and its effects does not promote diuresis.
