All the following are recognized feature of Niemann-pick disease type B EXCEPT

(C). Niemann-pick disease type B patients do not have neurologic involvement and have a normal IQ. Some patients with type B disease have cherry-red maculae or haloes and subtle neurologic symptoms(peripheral neuropathy). In some type B patients, decreased pulmonary diffusion caused by alveolar infiltration becomes evident in late childhood or early adulthood and progresses with age. Prolonged neonatal jaundice occurs in type  C
